"Pleasantly surprised"

We stayed here for one night when we were in the process of moving to Florida since our house was not ready. The hotel was clean, staff friendly and the hotel served our purpose. They have an indoor pool in the lobby, one of the few indoor pools in Florida. There's a cafe in the lobby as well. It came in handy for breakfast and lunch. It is centrally located by stores and restaurants. There was a high level of traffic in the lobby. It seemed very transient, but overall a good stay.

The Ramada maingate west is a nice play for a family stay. An indoor pool and outdoor pool were nice. If you are visiting orlando attractions, the pool is great because they keep both of them open late so you can enjoy the area attractions and be able to come back to the hotel and lounge by the pools. The indoor courtyard restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. My one gripe is the game arcade. Two thirds of the games didn't work and took my tokens. The hotel definitely needs to renovate the games area and fix the machines.

first of all i read all the reviews and thought oh god what have i got myself into but it was an excellent hotel. staff was very friendly rooms was nice for the price. look its a 3 star if u want the hilton stay at the hilton. i was very impressed room was clean id defo come back thank you ramada for making my 30th special one bad thing was the people for universal too book tickets wasnt their 3 days in a row

My family and I have stayed in this Ramada twice in the last two months. We checked out today after a two night stay. We love the child suites, a bunk and an extra bed in the child side. A huge comfortable king bed on adult side. Stephanie at the front desk was very very friendly and helpful. The housekeeping staff were also very helpful and accommodating. We love the indoor pool. The hotel is undergoing updates. We saw the staff working quickly and painting some rooms. We saw that the hottub was drained at night (after closing) and refilled before opening the next morning. This is an indoor hotel and is safe as there is only one entrance open at night, unless you have a key.
I read other reviews in here posted from this weekend and have to say that they are wrong. In reference to the pool, it is heated and was very comfortable. Not sure where the other posters are coming from, also for its value, in the hotel rating categories for
comparable hotels, this by far is our favorite.
