"Very nice staff"

Reviewed June 2nd, 2013 by fldisneymama
Everyone was very helpful and quick you start a conversation. We got there and justin was very nice and gave us our keys. The pool was clean the gentlemen running the store was very kind and kept up a conversation. The hotel was clean. By no means fancy could use updating. At the end of our stay the manager honored a mistake on the price when we arrived with no questions asked, i really appreciate there was no has sell. I would stay again. Very very kid friendly!

"Great Location, good value"

I have stayed at this hotel nearly 2 dozen times in the past 18 - 20 years. Some things are getting old but the property is kept neat and clean. And double queen beds in the room is available!!!!! The hotel is in a great location for easy access to Disney World and reasonable priced off property restaurants.

"Pleasant Surprise"

I was a bit skeptical after reading some of the reviews, but were greeted by friendly staff; room was better than we expected. Very comfortable and clean. We travel with a pet so this was the best of all worlds for us. Would definitely stay again.

ESPN Wide World of Sports
Hotel Accommodations

There are so many hotels in Orlando, it's hard to know which ones are closest to the things you want to see and do. If your family is full of sports fans, you'll be glad to learn that our hotel is near the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. At about five miles away, you can plan to catch several amateur and professional sporting events and have plenty of time to meet back at your hotel room for a post-game huddle before heading out for more Orlando entertainment. Expect to spend $10 for kids to get in and $14.50 for adults, while some games and venues charge additional ticketing fees.

Nine Venues Add Up to Plenty of Sports Action

If you're at Champion Stadium at the right time of year, you can see the Atlanta Braves at Spring training or the Gulf Coast Braves in the regular season. Either way, the 9,500-seat baseball facility offers a great way to see America's favorite game. Newly opened in 2011 is the HP Field House, where you can catch exciting events such as gymnastics invitationals, basketball tournaments and even robotics competitions.

The Jostens Center is the place to be for pulse-racing events like volleyball, roller hockey, and  and basketball. It also has an adjacent restaurant, so make a day of it! For outdoor sports action, Hess Sports Fields is well-equipped. With fields set up for day or night play, these eight multi-purpose fields are ready for just about anything, from international soccer to football.

Additional venues you'll find here include the Baseball Quadplex, with four professional baseball fields, the Softball Diamondplex consisting of six fields, the Centre Court Stadium for tennis and the Cross Country Course for track and field events. There is also the Track and Field Complex that is designed according to the standards of the International Association of Athletics Federations.
